It is being developed for film by Ridley Scott. She also has a lot to learn about the negative side of people skills as well–understanding deception and manipulation–Young cleverly explores both aspects of Saba’s deficit. I agree with other reviewers who argue that the first half of this book is much more solid than the latter half.

This same king is the one who sent the four cloaked horsemen, known as the Tonton, to kidnap Lugh.

I think this is one of the main reasons why I love to read dystopia. They talk to each other like girls talk. It’s riddled with mistakes and some dustlamds it doesn’t make any sense. Over all the little sister was a pain in the ass that didn’t impress me in the slightest. Surely a movie waiting to be made. Because this book has everything that will keep anyone, whether a reader or movie-goer, hooked: As the story progresses, you see Saba grow into an individual person and not just one half of a twin.

The story includes a strong set of secondary characters that dustlande very well developed. And none of the other women in the book are any less, either. After seeing all the wonderful reviews of this book, I was excited to see it appear at my doorstep, and I didn’t wait long to dive into it.

In short, Blood Red Road was a fun intense read that I enjoyed very much. Part of my harsh review may be because I was hyped up for this book and after reading it, I discovered it to be a big let down.
The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. Of course, there are more than a few hints dropped in this book to pave the way for the next–a common symptom dustkands sequelitis. Just give me The Fellowship of the Ring set in Mordor without the overly burdensome description or any of the fantastical beings. In a way, I like this.

Some people might not like the way the author chose to portray her prose, but I enjoyed it. Saba’s Pa can read the stars and he sees djstlands things he doesn’t like. The second half is still well-paced, but is diluted by rather predictable plot twists and formulaic romantic back and forth.
Be dusglands first to review this title. The words in this one spells like how they would sound like for example: But you get used to it very quickly and the words just fly by after that. Incredibly roar and grossly entertaining, Blood Red Road sends us on a journey full of bumps and scrapes that will leave your heart pounding with energy.
There are a lot of characters from the good ones and the bad ones.
Lugh is thinking his Dad is full of hogwash, but one day a storm comes. Why and where he is taken, Saba doesn’t know, but she is determined to do everything she can to find and rescue him. I read a short excerpt beforehand, and in turn, I had absolutely no problems getting into the story right away.
